Fresh Start
Thankfully, we are all alive and blessed today. Considering the fact that we are reading this post here, we have a good enough reason to be grateful. It is easy to wake up and focus on yesterdays failures, sins, troubles, etc. However, worrying doesn’t solve anything.
Why worry when you can pray?
None of us woke ourselves up today. Yes, we may have had an alarm but ultimately, being alive is because of God allowing us to have another day on this Earth.
It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23).
Today we are have new mercies. We could have been headed straight to Hell but thanks be to God, we have a hope of eternal life. Don’t choose to live in defeat. Don’t beat yourself up over past mistakes. Repent and do something great today. Instead of seeking that blessing from God, start seeking a way to bless others.
Our hands aren’t just made to receive, but also to give. Give God praise today.
Your situation could have been worse. Be grateful. Serve the Lord with gladness! Stay encouraged, stay holy, keep pressing. God bless!
