Ready or Not, Here I Come

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. (Matthew 24:36)

Since time has begun, it was given an expiration date. This life that we live, will eventually end. I know everyone wants to stay young or they want to grow old and see their grandchildren. However, at some point we will ALL die. Young and old, every race, every gender, strong or weak, popular or not, no matter what category you choose to label yourself, you will die one day. Whether being from violence, sickness, old age, accidents, drowning/burning, and so many different others. Am I trying to scare you? No way! Am I trying to open your eyes to reality? YES! We will all die (unless we get raptured first)! Does that mean to walk around everyday depressed or wondering if your next? No, we should live our lives always ready to go.

For over 2,000 years many Christians have been expecting to see the return of Jesus Christ The Lord. I say many because it is clear that many of us aren’t expecting Christ to come now. I have been hearing all of my life that Jesus is coming back, so I know it can become a ritual and be so easily ignored. However, if Jesus doesn’t come back today, I can still die today. I know Drake, Lil Wayne, Nikki Minaj, Jay Z, Trey Songz, etc. says “YOLO” (You Only Live Once), so go out and have fun. Here is what the wisest man to ever live have to say about that: Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment. (Ecclesiastes 11:9)

So yes, go out and have fun!!! Do EVERYTHING you choose to do, but always remember, God is going to judge us by our actions. Do you really think that these guys should influence your life? These guys are the devil’s agents. They promote the devil’s agenda, they cause your flesh to be stronger than your spirit, and they stop you from hearing God’s voice. Many of us are so blind that Jesus is returning because we listen to artists, people, movies, etc. and don’t give God a chance to talk to us! I believe that YOLO should be no excuse to live a careless or ignorant life. We should know that since we only have one opportunity, lets impact the world and live for God so that we can live again!

“Everything is permissible”–but not everything is beneficial. “Everything is permissible”–but not everything is constructive. (1 Corinthians 10:23)

The crazy thing is, everyone says they want to go to Heaven, but nobody wants to die. It seems as though we find this corrupt, sinful, dark world to be more pleasurable than an eternity with God. Nothing in this world satisfies more than the presence of God, see Psalm 16:11.

Live a life so that the preacher doesn’t have to lie at your funeral. “When he/she was 7/11/16/21 they accepted Jesus as their Lord and personal savior. Yeah, but they can’t tell the part where you decided to leave church, stray away from God, sleeping around, partying, joining gangs, etc. I have been to several funerals and everyone says they’re in Heaven. That is clearly saying the bible is false, because Jesus said be born again (John 3:5-7). The bible says without following peace with men and holiness, no man will see God (Hebrews 12:14). So you just clearly stated that a sinner is going to the same place as a child of God, FALSE! I’m not throwing anyone in Hell, I’m only stating what the word of God says.

Harold Camping stated the world should’ve ended May 21,2011. After he spoke, people began to go crazy. Quitting jobs, selling homes, and hitting the nearest church. After that day, he and all his followers must have felt really foolish. I’m glad he got souls to go to church, but he clearly went against the Word of God. He wasn’t the first one to predict a date and be wrong. No man knows when this world will end. Yet we all know one thing, it must end some day. Will you be ready to meet Jesus? If you’re late for Heaven, you’re on time for Hell. If we aren’t right with God, we will be left behind. When this false 12/21/12 prophecy blows over, don’t think that Jesus isn’t coming back. This is only a distraction! Stay focused on Jesus!

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh. (Luke 21:28)

We have a bit of a…. “touchy” subject today! Pun intended. There’s no bible verse that’s explicitly anti-masturbation. However, let’s see what the word may imply by this. Ask yourself these questions
