The word of God…

The word of God clearly states that without the spirit of Christ, you do not belong to God (Romans 8:9). Yes, Jesus loves you, he loves everyone, but that doesn’t mean you belong to Him.  – What is the spirit of Christ? The spirit of Christ is the Holy Ghost which was prophesied by the prophet Joel (Joel 2:28-32). There aren’t three separate spirits. God is a spirit (John 4:24) and Jesus also prophesied that he will send a comforter, John 14:16. Some believe that there is a ”Trinity”, but Jesus said ”I will come to you”, when he spoke of the Holy Ghost (John 14:18).

Unfortunately, some churches don’t believe you have to receive the Holy Ghost to be saved. Which is contrary to what Jesus said. Jesus told Nicodemus that he must be born of water (Jesus name baptism) and be born of the spirit to enter the Kingdom of God (The infilling of the holy ghost), John 3:5-7

How do I know when I have the Holy Ghost?  In Acts 2, we see the very first time God poured out His spirit on man, in the upper room. They were in one place and on one accord, showing us that God works mightily when there is unity (psalm 133). ”And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.”(v2.). There must be an initial sound when one receives the Holy Ghost.  Some preach you know the holy ghost is there when you produce the fruit of the spirit. False. You cannot live holy without first having the spirit of God in you.  When men received the holy ghost in the Bible, they spoke in tongues: · Acts 2:4 • Acts 10:44-46 • Acts 19:6 After you have those initial evidence, then you can claim you have the Holy Ghost inside of you, but don’t stop there. Now, you must produce fruit. You know the Holy Ghost is ACTIVE in you when you produce the fruit of the spirit (Galatians 5:22-23).

If your church preaches that you don’t have to speak in tongues first, then obviously they’re false, according to scripture. Yes you may genuinely love God, you may have even confessed him as Lord and tried to turn from sin. However, Romans 10:9 isn’t the plan of salvation, Acts 2:38 is!

Confession is made UNTO salvation, confession isn’t salvation.

Have you Acts 2:38 since you Romans 10:9?

God bless!

We have a bit of a…. “touchy” subject today! Pun intended. There’s no bible verse that’s explicitly anti-masturbation. However, let’s see what the word may imply by this. Ask yourself these questions
